The inov-8 Race Elite 15 is an ultralight minimalist pack; ideal for fell running and those who go superlight in mountain marathons. It is the smallest pack in the Race Elite range.
inov-8 have striped the Race Elite 15 down to its most essential features; it has one main compartment with a vertical zip to allow easy access to the whole bag. There are two hip fin pockets, one mesh and one weatherproof for storing frequently accessed items. The anatomical shoulder straps keep the bag close to your body, with the pack being wider at the bottom to keep weight close to your centre of gravity, making the whole bag comfy to run with.

An excellent pack that I use for long trail runs in the Winter, when a bum bag can't take all the extra clothing & safety gear.
I'm a big fan of the stripped down, low-faff, lightweight pack. NOT just for 'elite' runners! Who needs all that extra padding, straps, buckles, pockets, etc. that can easily double the weight of a pack?
One slight niggle is the shoulder straps rub at my neck if I'm just wearing a vest or T-shirt, but wearing a top with a collar is an easy fix.
The two side pockets are handy for accessing gels, etc. without having to take off the pack, and have zips to stop everything falling out.

An excellent lightweight pack that has a good fit and low bulk. Excellent and secure for long runs on the trail. I like the minimalist design. The hip pockets are very useful if a little on the small side. The only drawback is lack of hydration options..
