The inov-8 Oroc 340 is an all round winter running shoe designed to help you keep your footing even on hardpacked snow and ice. Small tungsten carbide rods embedded in the grips of the ball and heel are designed to bite into ice and give unrivalled grip. The lugs which hold these spikes are made from a special, super tough rubber to prevent the spikes tearing out. The non-spiked lugs are made from a much stickier rubber to give great traction on rock.
Alongside the new Oroc outsole the Oroc 340s features a beefed up rand and toe box for increased protection, Ray-Wrap lacing to prevent the shoe rolling and a mesh upper which allows the movement of your foot to drive water out of the shoe. This makes them a fantastic choice for trail running all year round.
