The Helly Hansen Trailwizard Short Sleeve is from Helly Hansen's Cool range (as opposed to their Dry and Warm ranges). The idea of the cool range is to deal with warmer and perhaps more humid environments where the standard Lifa may become completely waterlogged. To deal with this the Helly Hansen Trailwizard uses a mix of very technical fabrics. The Trailwizard back panel is CoolGrid. This waffled 3D fabric effectively creates air channels across your back to aid comfort and evaporation. The under arm panels are super fine aerated polyester, while the front and shoulder panels are a Lifa/Polyester blend. The med length zipped neck also allows for some extra venting.
The Trailwizard is a brilliantly engineered garment for performance in warm environments.
