The G3 Bonesaw is a perfect tool for cutting blocks for snowpack test pits. The G3 Bonesaw is streamlined, lightweight, packable, and as the name suggests tough enough to cut bone. This makes is ideal for touring trips in North America where camping below the treeline may be an option or for pretty extreme kit modifications mid tour. The blade of the saw even has a snow crystal sizing grid printed on the blade for quick evaluation during tests.
The curved handle of the saw allows the attachment of a ski so that deep cuts into the snowpack can be made.
