I am very pleased with these ski crampons: they are easy to put on without having to get off the skis, and once on provide super grip when the slope becomes too steep for the skins alone, or over icy ground. They are a bit on the heavy side, but if you are using Diamir bindings like myself you are probably looking for reliability rather than racing lightweight, in which case these do what they say on the packet!
I brought a pair of these to go with my Diamir Freerider Plus ski bindings. Their simple, easy to use with nothing much to go wrong with them. Not something I find I need every time I go skiing but when you need them you do really need them. Fitting them is easy, just push them into the holes in the toe piece and click into place. Getting them off does require a good hard tug. Can't really fault them.
The ski crampon simply clips to the square bar of any Diamir touring binding sitting under the ski boot for stability. It is very easy to attach (although you do have to take your skis off to do so) but not quite so easy to remove with cold fingers! Point protectors might be good for carrying them around in a bag. Generally easy to use and do what they need to for grip in icy conditions whilst ski touring.
I bought these crampons for my up and come ski holiday so I have not used them yet. They are to be used on my Movement Logic skis with Fritchi Freeride Plus bindings. From my experience of them so far, they are not the easiest crampon to fit and do require a bit of force to attach them to the binding. Other than that, no issues so far.
