The Five Ten Womens Siren is a superb all round shoe providing a good balance between comfort and fit. The heal is less aggressive than other Five Ten shoes yet holds the foot firmly preventing slipping. The Siren lends it's self to a broad variety of different styles of climbing. You will be confident with these on your feet whether on long multi pitch routes in the mountains of Cumbria or bouldering on moorland grit in the Pennines.
The Siren comes with two types of lace, the one in the shoe as you take it out of the box is the traditional nylon lace, probably the one the majority will use. The second lace is an elastic lace, this should provide a level of flexibility and possibly make it more comfortable on longer routes.
The well vented perforated synthetic Cowdura upper helps to keep the foot cooler by up to 20% compared to a lot of other shoes. The lace up closure provides a great fit and this combined with Stealth Onyxx rubber, that really sticks when you need it to, ensures a great all round shoe. Whether indoors or out, cracks or edges this could really be the shoe for you.

Five Ten Womens Siren Review
Reviewer: Laura Kennedy, Sunnybrow (13-9-2011)
What a brilliant shoe!
I’ve been through countless shoes in my search for the perfect one and this could well be it. Its a super snug fit but its not uncomfortable, the rubber is very very grippy and it holds an edge reasonably well. They wear well and don’t lose too much rubber when scrabbling about trying to find a foothold and they just work!
Excellent item and ill be buying a second pair soon!

Five Ten Womens Siren Review
Reviewer: Alice Palmer, London (28-12-2010)
I’ve been using these shoes for around six months now and have been really happy with them. As the previous review states, they do stretch somewhat, but this makes them very comfortable too which I like.
The reason I love them is that they fit my very narrow feet very well. I find it difficult to find shoes that fit (didn't manage to in-store so took a punt and ordered these online without trying them on) but these fitted perfectly. The laces make it very easy to adjust them to your foot size and shape. Would buy these again.

I'll never change shoe again!
Reviewer: Flick, Beds. (9-12-2010)
I've been climbing for nearly 10 years now and have been through every sort of shoe imaginable. I discovered the 5.10 Sirens perhaps 3 years ago and am certain that I will never change again. They're comfortable enough to wear all day, especially once they've stretched a bit. They come with normal laces and elastic quick-fastening laces, so you can choose whether you want maximum adjustability or convenience. Personally I like the adjustment of the normal laces.
I found edging so much easier when I switched to these shoes, and for the first time, I felt like I could really 'feel' the holds beneath my feet. The rubber is pretty sticky and long-lasting and my feet don't turn a dramatic colour when it rains as they don't really leak.
Negatives: Whilst they don't stretch anywhere near as much as some of my previous shoes, they do still stretch. I tend to buy half a size smaller than my everyday shoes, which is on the brink of crippling for the first few uses (but I climb like a beast!), then perfect for most of their life, but eventually a bit too loose for comfort. This is actually quite convenient, though, as I tend to keep a fairly new pair for technical work and an older pair for all-day activity. The other bad point is that they do pong after a while, and nothing really seems to stop this permanently.
