Five Ten Anasazi Verde

The Five Ten Anasazi Verde is more than just a lace up version of the ever popular Velcro. The precision fit of the shoe combined with the lace up closure means the shoe has better edging abilities than the Velcro. With the redesign of the old 'Pink', 5.10 lost the very close fit, this is where the V2 Blanco fits in, please see related products below. But for those that find the V2 insanely painful then it's the Verde.
Stealth Onyxx rubber provides this shoe with unequalled sticking power and superb durability, you just know you're foot is going to stick even on the smallest smears. This is a fantastic shoe for all type of rock but does work really well on the grit. If you're after a shoe to push your grade a little harder then this could be the one.

Well, the classic Lace up of the VCS by Five Ten. I bought these shoes about a year ago for climbing on Grit and some general trad climbing on various rock types. They proved to be everything they were advertised as being. The fit is amazing, and roughly half size down from my normal shoe size. If you've got a narrower foot these will be a lot better for you than the VCS and will give you a much more snug fit. The heel is pretty decent, even though thats not really what their made for. They smear and edge brilliantly, and the edges last a good amount of time. A great pair of shoes for a great range of climbing!

Very nice climbing shoe. I found fit is on the small side, much more than other climbing shoes and took 2 sizes larger than normal shoes. They do not really stretch very much being a synthetic shoe, so buy it to fit. The heel area is tight at the back but baggy on the sides however, this does not effect performance. The laces provide a good secure fit. The rubber is hard wearing so is a good shoe for heavy use on climbing walls and outside. Despite the hard wearing rubber the shoe sticks very well on smears . Not bad in terms of comfort, the worst area being the big toe. It can be tolerated for quite long periods with little problem.
