Two months ago I bought my (first) pair of Anasazi Velcro (2). My street shoe size is 8-8.5. I bought size 7. They were very tight at first and after this first time climbing I wandered if I had made the wrong choice in choosing too tight shoes. The shoes did hurt very much at the tows but after climbing 5-10 times the shoes were shaped a little to my feet and it was easier to put them on. Because of the tight fit they climb very precise and the heal stays perfectly in position The Velcro fastening makes it very easy and fast to put on/of your shoes. The rubber really sticks to the wall which gives you a very comfortable feeling . This fit will not work for multi-pitch but for single pitch and bouldering this is a perfect shoe.

If they fit your foot, you won't find a better rockshoe than the Anasazi. Amazingly precise, and very sticky rubber. I've used mine for bouldering, trad, sport, indoor...

The Velcro gives fewer options (than the lace-up) for adjusting the shoe volume to fit your foot, but it really wins on the speed of taking them off at the end of a hard route.

Perhaps not the best shoe for long, all-day multi pitching or scrambling, and personally they aren't my first choice for jamming cracks, as the top of the shoe doesn't give much protection to your toes when torquing your feet into the crack.

Bought a pair of these about a month back for indoor stuff and to get more sport climbing done. They edge brilliantly and really are the performance shoe they are advertised as!

They can be tight at first, especially in the heel they don’t feel like their fitting very well. But with a bit of stretching to the heel, the rubbing seemed to completely disappear. The tongue is nicely padded and gives good comfort to the top of the foot. The Stealth Onyx rubber is brilliant and really does feel different to some other rubbers. Brilliant for indoor and sport because they can be taken off while belaying to give your feet some air without having to fiddle with laces. The price, as with all climbing shoes of this nature, is steep, but without doubt worth the extra £20 over other shoes as once their worn in a bit provide great performance.

Once you get them worn in you'll love them!
