Exped Mountain Pro 40 Pack
£60.00
The Exped Mountain Pro 40 is a virtually waterproof pack with taped seams and laminated polester fabric. Based around a reinforced fold dry bag the Mountain Pro 40 has some innovative features that make it a great pack.
The large flap lid is also a large pocket with an elasticated drawcord at the edge to compress the top of the pack when it's closed. The lid closes with either 1 or 2 carabiners (included) onto daisy chains.
There are 5 daisy chains on the pack for endless attachment of your gear.
Padded and comfortable hip belt that is completely removable.
EVA foam base to pack for durability.
Removable EVA foam back sheet. Your choice of extra padding or lighter weight.
Concave back panel for greater comfort.
Large undivided main compartment with roll top access means you can drop just about anything that will fit straight in. Narrow shape means weight is kept close to the back.
All adjustable straps have velcro tidies that keep the straps just the right length.
2 removable neoprene accessory pockets that fit on the hip belt or arm straps. Ideal for phones, radios etc.
Transparent and weatherproof document and map case included. Zips into inner compartment.
4 versatile straps secure ice axe, skis, trekking poles etc.
The Exped Mountain Pro 40 is not your run of the mill pack and a bit quirky when you fist get hold of it, but the more you use it the more you appreciate some of the design features that have gone into it and the more the bag makes sense. Because it is waterproof the Mountain Pro 40 makes a great UK pack for those that go out in all weathers.
