Exped Waterproof Crush Drybag Review
Reviewer: john clarke, lichfield (29-3-2010)
I use the Exped size small for my Nikon D80 with a Tamron 17-200 lens, the camera fits perfectly and this Exped bag is 310grams lighter than the Crumpler Jimi bo400 which I would normally use. There also room for a lens brush and memory cards etc. But as I am trying to save weight as the Exped bag is going in my hiking rucksack. I’m thrilled with the fantastic Exped bag. I also have a XXS small size for my mobile phone, again it’s fantastic, well made waterproof and lightweight.

Not perfect - but near

The XXS is fairly small - it fits my Nokia 5800 and the insert gives it a lot of protection but won't fit anything much bigger. The insert can be a bit of a problem to open if you have gloves on which is the only reason it didn't get 5 stars.
I was looking for something that would protect my phone from the wet and from the odd slip and that could connect to the strap of my rucksack or bum bag so I could get it out quickly when I wanted to - the bag does this perfectly.
Worth every penny

Exped Waterproof Crush Drybag Review
Reviewer: Howard March, Milton Keynes (3-9-2009)
I used two size XXXS recently in some very wet weather; as with other Exped dry bags they work really well. The padding is well sized, not taking up unnecessary space. Size XXXS will hold a Garmin eTrex GPS or a Fuji F10 camera.
I give it 4 stars as the padding is a separate pocket with Velcro closure inside a roll top bag. The Velcro is difficult to get to in the small size bag (I put tape on the Velcro to solve) and it would be easier to use if the padding was attached to the roll top.

Exped Waterproof Crush Drybag Review

Being a great fan of the standard Exped dry-bags, I ordered the XXS crush drybag for my small-ish digicam (Panasonic TZ-5). The idea is excellent - cheap, simple & waterproof. Unfortunately, I had to return the bag since it was too large for my camera. Exped should make an XXXS, especially since my camera is by no means the smallest on the market.
