Ski Brakes for Dynafit Vertical ST, Vertcal FT, Radical ST, Radical FT and TLT Comfort ski bindings.
Using ski brakes with touring bindings rather than leashes makes lift skiing so much easier as taking your skis on and off is much less of a chore and you can drop a ski on the ground without holding onto it.
Please note: we sell the Vertcial ST bindings COMPLETE with brakes so these brakes are for people who need a new width of brake or purchased bindings elsewhere without the brakes.
The ski brakes come in 4 widths, 82mm, 92mm, 100mm and 110mm. Choose one that is wider than your ski (measured at the waist) but the closer they are in size, the more effective the brakes will be.

I somehow lost a(4-yrs old)ski brake somewhere in the mountains (don't ask!), so I was very happy to find that Facewest had such a thing in stock, and I got good advice from them on the best size to suit my ski. They arrived quickly in the post, and the pack includes the all-important retainer clips, plus springs for the heel unit. The brakes are pretty straightforward to fit, but you do need to know what you're doing. (For good fitting advice,see www.wildsnow.com).
They've now had a week's use and are fine. It's important to check them regularly as they get old; the mechanics are basic and any misalignment in the bent metalwork can lead to the brakes not deploying instantly when released.
