The Dynafit Baltoro is a Backcountry / Touring Ski with great performance for it's weight.

The Dynafit Baltoro is a lightweight Backcountry / Touring ski. It strikes a great balance between weight, stiffness and performance. Fun to ski in soft snow conditions thanks to it's 84mm waist, but enough core to be a competent everyday resort ski.
Baltoro ski comes complete with custom skins.
The Baltoro Ski comes complete with the custom Speed Skin. Speed skins are light and flexible with their own KLICK system fixing. They have a membrane layer which prevents water from soaking from the plush into the backing and affecting your glue. The tip fitting does not use a loop but a central piece of rubber that you cannot kick off. All in all a great pair of skins.

We give this 2 stars. Too light and not fat enough for serious downhill performance.
Backcountry:
4 stars. Sitting in the middle range of backcountry skis, the Baltoro skis very well for a sub 1500g ski. It will help those that want to optimise soft snow performance whilst maintaining a light weight.
Touring:
5 stars. A great hut to hut ski that will be ideal for those powder descents. Versatile enough as a resort ski.
