Very impressed and as with all Diamir products these are fantastic!

Great feature of these crampons is that they are stored on the ski binding upside. Fitted these to a pair of freeride pro's and they work very well. If you have suitable bindings then buy these crampons.

I have these fitted to my Eagle bindings and they work really well. Fitted first thing to the bindings and then rotated down as required. They are a bit fiddly at first but after a few times of up/down they get easier to use. Remember they are sided left and right. If you get it wrong they ping off and hopefully you get them before they head down hill. I would recommend them.

The selling point for these is that they rotate. You fit them at the start of the day and rotate them down as necessary. This is far easier than trying to fit them on steep terrain. The design makes it so convenient.

If they fit your bindings then buy these.

Solid and robust bit of kit and an absolute lifesaver on scary traverses.

I have these on my Freeride/BD kilowatt setup and they work great. The lugs lock nicely into the front of the binding, and the locking bar snaps shut positively across the binding bar to secure it in place. No problem at all with ski gloves on and done in seconds. Taking them off I find the locking bar a bit stiff, but just give it a gentle tap with the handle of my ski pole.

The hinge, which allows you to deploy them intermittently is pure genius - can't believe Dynafit don't do this. Once you get the knack, you can just lift your foot and tap them in to place with your ski pole. They are a real boost when you are not sure what conditions will be like underfoot on the skin track as you can simply deploy them as needed - saves a lot of energy when they are flipped up and not dragging in the snow.

The two crampons "nest" nicely as well - the crampon bag is worth getting - and you can also hang them off your harness if you don't want the weight on your feet but want them handy just in case.

The lugs that lock them in to position are very stiff. I broke mine of in a fit of pique and actually think they work better like this. They still seem very stable to me.

I used these for all of lasts years season and can't fault them. Leave them attached to your bindings and all you need to do when you need them is raise your heel, flip them forward with the tip of a pole, carefully stamp down to make sure they lock into place, and you're done.
It's a little bit fiddly to start with (well worth practising somewhere safe) but not a problem once you've got the knack. Far easier and quicker than stopping to fit the usual type of crampon and therefore very much safer.
Quality is excellent and the robust materials have suffered no damage. Initially scepticism at having a plastic hinged arrangement was ill founded - they seem bomb proof.
They are very easy to fit to the bindings to start with (or remove if you're having a downhill only day) and perfectly secure once fitted. My only gripe is that they aren't manufactured in a wide version and I can't use them on my fat ski's as well.
