Deuter Pace 30 Review
Reviewer: simon Willis, BUXTON (3-8-2011)
I was looking for a rucksack that was light enough to use with just water and a cag for a long day in the hills, but also big enough to carry everything for a day climbing or winter walking. This pack is perfect. It has a number of pockets which are easy to get at. It is also one of those rare bags that actually fits into the Ryan Air restrictions for cabin baggage. This made it ideal for a recent trip to the Atlas where I could take all my gear on as hand luggage but also use it as a lightweight summit pack.

Deuter Pace 30 Review
Reviewer: Paul Stewart, Lower Methil (2-2-2011)
I've used this pack for cycling, skiing and touring. It has some nice features like big zip pulls which can be used with gloves, the outside compartment is a good size for skins or helmet and you can get skis attached with no trouble.
The reason for the four stars is because I had an issue with the belt buckle falling off when travelling. The two waist buckle straps don't have large enough stitched ends so one half of the buckle slipped off. I contacted Deuter direct who swiftly sent one out the same day.
