The Demon Flex-Force Pro Spine guard is a full length back protector with hard shell spreader plates. The Spine Guard is for those going big either on jumps, drops and kickers or in the backcountry .
It offers fantastic lumbar support with shoulder straps and a broad elastciated waist band that secures with velcro for a perfect fit. The hard shell impact spreader plates also prevent over extension of the spine.
Demon Flex Force Pro Spine Guard Features:
- The Spine guard comes in 4 sizes. The small has 5 impact spreader plates, the medium 6, the large (pictured) 7 and the XL 8.
- The side wings have high density padding for hip protection.
- Removable braces so the armour can be removed without undressing.
- Fully padded for comfort.
- Mesh construction for breathability.
Sizing Info:
To find the correct size of spine guard measure from the nape of your neck to the small of your back, this is the area that will be covered by the guard.
- Small - Spine Guard Length 16¾" / 42.5cm
- Medium - Spine Guard 19" / 48cm
- Large - Spine Guard 21½" / 54.5cm
- XL - Spine Guard 24¼" / 61.5cm

Demon Flex Force Pro Spine Guard Review

I purchased this back protector for snowboarding and mountain biking. I went with Demon once again as I pretty satisfied with my use of their Flex Force Pro short. I'm 1.78m tall and I took a size Large. I think a size Medium would have been sufficient. Having said that, size Large is not THAT big.
The spine guard offers a nice low-profile protection. The straps are comfy, and don't cut when bending, as well as the waist band, that you quickly forget after an hour of riding.
Really good product then, not the best, but which offers a good value for money. Be careful if you're around 1m80 tall though, depending on your back size and your build, it could be a hard to decide between the Medium and Large sizes.
