The Dakine Girls Heli Pro is a low weight backcountry and touring pack designed for women. The key weight savings over the DLX models come at the expense of the horizontal board carry and floating back panel. This means that you get a super-light mid-sized backcountry pack with all the features you need for demanding mountain days.
The diagonal ski and vertical board carries are stable and comfortable whilst the pockets are large enough to hold all your safety gear and other essentials. The harness of the Girls Heli Pro is designed specifically for the female figure and provides all day comfort and security. This is a brilliant pack for shorter tours, backcountry days and day-to-day use: one of the most popular packs we sell.

Dakine Girls Heli Pro Review
Reviewer: Sam, Cambridge (23-2-2012)
This is an excellent bag for touring. It has good side main pocket, a smaller pocket for wet things like your spade and a nice soft lined pocket for goggles or phone. there is also a clip on the side for the spade handle. What is try nice is the way that you can easily carry the skis diagonally on the pack. I think that you could also carry them in an A frame but I have not tried that. Overall, despite what it can carry, it is very light and very comfortable to wear. If you are heading out for day trips, then this is fine. If you wanted to go hut to hut, you will need a bigger bag.
