Dainese Action Wave

The Dainese Action Wave is our top of the range back protector. It features a fully articulated design which makes it incredibly comfortable and offers great freedom of movement. The Polypropylene plates are perforated and corrugated for breathability and comfort and offer great impact absorption and dissipation. The plates are attached to two foam and mesh pads which further spread and absorb impact and which contain a Nidaplast honey comb insert. It is this the deformation of this insert which provides the maximum protection for the minimum weight. These two pads are able to articulate freely for comfort and freedom of movement and are held in place by a substantial lumbar band with double adjustment strap as well as two rucksack style shoulder straps.
There is no safety standard for snowsports back protectors so instead the Action Wave is tested against the standard for motorcyling which it exceeds. This means that you know that you're getting the maximum possible protection.
