The Blizzard Survival Jacket is a very versatile piece of kit, designed to keep you warm and protected from the elements, whilst remaining completely mobile. The Survival jacket is a thigh-length body warmer with a large hood, ploythene sleeves and elasticated lower hem, the main body and hood are made from Reflexcell™ material.

Unlike the Survival bag or Tube (see Related Pages below) which would only be deployed in emergencies the Blizzard Survival Jacket would be carried in your sack both for emergencies and as a piece of back up insulated clothing. If you are cold and wet, then put the survival jacket on before the situation gets out of hand and keep moving towards your goal. Since the jacket is completely reusable you won't be deterred from using it because of the cost. As adventures trend faster and lighter, with minimalist gear then a reflexcell jacket makes more and more sense. The Reflexcell material is completely wind and waterproof and durable enough to be used many times.
