The Blizzard Survival Heat™ Blanket is lightweight compact self heating casualty blanket. It combines the Blizzard's Reflexcell™ insulation with self heating pads for the prevention and treatment of hypothermia.

The Blizzard Survival Heat™ Blanket comes with 4 heat pads which are activated upon exposure to the air - so all you need to do is remove the blanket form its vacuum packed poly-bag. There are 2 heat pads for the upper trunk and 2 for the lower trunk, they take approximately five to twenty minutes to heat up then stay warm for up to 24 hours. The heat pads are velcro backed so can be detached from inside the bag and moved around to where the heat is most needed. The heat pads are not reusable.

The Blizzard Heat™ Blanket has Velcro seals running down the centre of the bag and the either side. This means the bag can be opened to gain access to the person within the bag without extreme heat loss. The Blanket can also be used as a stand alone Survival Bag or Tube by closing the draw strings at the top and bottom of the bag.
