I bought these poles for a recent ski touring trip in the Pyrenees. It was the first time I'd used telescopic poles and found that they were really easy to use and did exactly what they were supposed to! The build quality seems excellent and I can imagine they will last a long time. The handles and straps are very comfortable whether you're wearing gloves or not. It was very easy to change the length between skiing and walking. They have a handy rubberised section near the top of the pole to improve the grip. I found this really useful when climbing on steep slopes when you need to hold the uphill pole a bit further down to get the maximum support .

I would definitely recommend these poles for ski touring and will be using them for regular downhill as well. The only weakness is cosmetic - they are orange! But this may be to some people's taste of course and it makes them easy to spot in the ski room!

Great pole for the money, I considered the expedition but felt that this packed small enough for my needs and had less moving parts to fail. Grips are comfortable and overall completely fit for purpose.

Great poles. Easy to work. I change my pole length when touring more regularly now. Light enough and they seem sturdy. At 50 pounds they are a bargain.

These are some of the best adjustable ski poles I have used.
The locking mechanism is easy to adjust with gloves on and does not to slip once locked into place.
The length adjustment on them has a good range and they go to a suitably long length for taller people.
The handles are nice to hold even in cold weather with bare hands and the grips midway down the upper shaft useful when traversing. The straps are problem free.

Overall a very good pole for ski touring.
