The Black Diamond Super 8 is a classic figure-8 style descender. The figure-8 is still the smoothest and simplest abseil device available, it permits abseiling on single or double ropes, is quick to rig and dissipates heat better than any other passive abseil device.
The Super 8 is smooth anodised for even wear and longevity. This is a must for cavers and mountaineers who face a serious amount of abseiling and is ideal for group and centre use.
