The Black Diamond Agent Avalung Pack is a mid-sized ski and board pack with the addition of the superb Avalung avalanche safety system. At 20L the Agent is an ideal size for day touring, backcountry sessions and even lightweight overnight hut visits. It features plenty of space for safety gear, spare clothing, maps and other essentials. The Agent features a diagonal ski carry system making it suitable for short to moderate hikes and a helmet carry sling for warmer days. Avalung Technology

The Black Diamond Avalung II is probably the most significant development in avalanche safety since the digital transceiver. It works similarly to a snorkel, drawing in fresh air from one part of the snowpack and allowing you to exhale CO2 dense air elsewhere. The Avalung significantly improves survival times for submerged casualties by preventing asphyxiation and the longer you survive the more chance rescuers have. This is rapidly becoming an essential for those who regularly ski in avalanche prone areas.
