5 Beta Climbing M16 Brush Review

I purchased this item following several reviews on various climbing websites. The fact that it was originally designed for cleaning the American M16 rifle, suggested that it would stand up well when used on handholds on indoor climbing Walls as well as rock faces. The brush heads are stiff enough to be effect in removing chalk deposits with minimal effort. The two ended design provides a choice of two size brushes which are very capable of getting into the smallest of grooves. The simple design and compact size of this brush means that it fits easily into the brush loops that can be found on most climbing chalk bags making it accessible when hanging upside down on that impossible route.

A great little brush, which is tough enough to deal with a lot of rough rock and still not lose its bristles.

A nice addition would be a little loop for the attachment of a little bit of cord, as I’ve almost lost mine a few times.

Price is great and the brush is well suited to cleaning everything ive used it on! Great little buy.

Not had the chance to use it a great deal as my climbing club have a lot of people that must have OCD and keep the holds relatively chalk free. but it is a good sturdy brush, it looks like it might snap but it hasn't so far and quickly clears off any chalk built up on a hold. the second, harder bristled and smaller brush is a nice touch.
