The lightest half rope available. An extremely low impact force- great news
for less than perfect runners and belays. This is a great choice for winter routes.
At 8.1mm the rope runs freely and lightly, only 42 grammes per metre. Ropes are
Golden Dry treated, so will not absorb water or freeze.
GOLDEN DRY
Hydrophobic treatment.
A fluoride solution is deposited on every filament
of the sheath, and every filament entering into the composition of the core ropelets,
by continuous process, and then heat polymerised. This means the rope will not
absorb water and therefore does not get as heavy when wet, and cannot freeze.
Recommended for winter use.
