The BCA Stash Squall is a stripped down mid-sized ski pack ideal for day tours and backcountry sessions. At 27L it is easily big enough for your safety gear, some extra clothing, a drink and some sarnies and by utilising a simple single-pocket construction it keeps the weight to a minimum.
The Stash Squall features a roll top closure system which keeps out spindrift but features a back panel access to give you easy and quick access to everything in your sack even when you're carrying skis. This is a fantastic lightweight ski sack ideal for the regular backcountry traveller.

BCA Stash Squall Review
Reviewer: Jukka Toivari, Helsinki (10-3-2011)
This daypack has everything you need for backcountry day tours, but not any extra bells and whistles. It’s light, simple and streamlined, but sturdy enough to maintain shape when loaded with skis and gear. I especially like the back zipper entrance. The back entry is fast to use, even when wearing gloves and your back won’t get wet of melting snow afterwards. I also like the diagonal ski carry system. The ski straps are easily big enough for wide skis and adjustable. Water hose is easily available. I haven’t tested it in really cold days yet, so I don’t know how freeze resistant it is.
Only minor niggle I’ve found, is too small opening of the water bladder, which makes it difficult to clean. On the sale price this was a steal!
