The BCA Snow Saw has a 30cm blade and curved pistol grip handle. This saw is ideal for cutting snow blocks, for all types of snowpack analysis tests and igloos. It will also cut branches and wood if making a temporary shelter below the tree line.

BCA Snow Saw Review

The BCA Snow Saw is very light, comparing to the others product on the market, and very good for cutting through snow, woods or whatever you want to cut. Unfortunately, I encountered some flaws:
- it's too sharp, definitely needs a sheath for protection, otherwise will tear the backpack to shred;
- it's too long for some backpacks (especially daypacks) and too short for cutting big chunks of snow (but for that I use a saw attached to the trekking pole from BD, so no biggie).
Overall, a good saw for it's price, but you have to be extra careful not to cut something/someone by mistake.
