The Arcteryx Gamma AR jacket is a tough mountain jacket, constructed from Fortius 3.0 with an articulated waist length cut. It excels in mixed weather conditions and is a superbly versatile softshell that has high levels of breathability and allows for excellent mobility, the ideal jacket for alpine climbing and ski-touring in cold conditions.

Fortius 3.0 is the heaviest of this range of fabric. It is membrane free allowing for superior levels of breathability and the four way stretch ensures good freedom of movement for the wearer. The face has a DWR treatment ensuring snow and moisture is easily shed from the jacket. This outer fabric is laminated to a heavy weight four way stretch fleece providing insulation in colder weather.

The Gamma AR jacket can be layered with a light shell in terrible weather but really excels as a weatherproof but not waterproof outer layer for those on the move.
