The Arcteryx Fission SL Jacket is a an amazingly light fully waterproof insulated jacket that offers superb levels of warmth and storm protection. It is ideal for cold wet conditions providing excellent breathability, a great piece for the Scottish mountains.

ThermaTek is a hollow core continuous fibre that has been treated with a heat activated DWR coating. This provides the jacket with a hydrophobic insulation that retains it's ability to loft quickly even after being compressed in you pack. The ThermaTrek insulation has then been laminated to a lightweight DWR treated nylon shell producing a non-quilted insulation. This ensures it will remain in place eliminating cold spots and retaining maximum breathability.

The Fission SL has been cut for active use with articulated elbows and generous Pit Zips should you need to cool down. The insulated hood is helmet compatible and has superb adjustment ensuring you are protected even in the worst weather the mountain might throw at you.
