Arcteryx Cerium LT Jacket

The Arcteryx Cerium LT Jacket provides superb insulation from the cold for people actively working hard in the mountains. The highest quality 850 fill European goose down provides the maximum warmth at the very lightest of weights. The cerium offers superb mobility and can be used as either a really warm midlayer or as an outer layer in all but the coldest of conditions. This is the perfect choice for the ski tourer or Alpine climber requiring warmth without bulk or weight.

Down Fill Power explained

Arcteryx use Down Composite mapping (DCM) in the Cerium Jacket. DCM is where Coreloft synthetic insulation is used instead of down in areas prone to moisture - the collar, chin, underarms and cuffs. These areas are also prone to down migration. The use of Coreloft eliminates this problem as it remains static within the jacket. Down is then used throughout the body and arms where warmth is required the most. The perfect lightweight choice for the mountains.

The Cerium LT jacket is a great lightweight warm and packable piece, I can take this jacket any ware without worrying it will take up room in my pack. It packs into its own stuff sack. I bought this jacket to pair with my new Beta AR hard shell in the same admiral colour. But even as a stand alone jacket is a great fit nicer than any other competitors jackets I have tried. Someone commented about the lack of a draw cord at the bottom. However with the trim fit I cannot see the need as it fits nicely on the hip.

Great Jacket! Brought it as an everyday wear after reviewing many options online. When it arrived i was initially concerned about the material strength as my previous jacket was a much heavier duty Mountain equipment Softshell, however after a couple of months of wear it is clear the material is actually very strong. Its incredibly warm but never seems to get uncomfortably hot and is so light you dont really know you are wearing it. the only negative point i can think of is the lack of a small inside pocket.

Beautifully made, very warm and hardly takes up any space in a small daysack whilst skiing. I debated medium vs large (5ft 10" 12 stone). Pleased I went for large to wear over other layers and under an Alpha SV jacket (also large). Clumping of the down after a wash worried me but sorted out after borrowing a friends tumble dryer!!!

Facewest service as good as always.

Very impressed, keep it up.

Bought as a skiing intermediate layer for North American trip as also have the hooded version for additional warmth/insulation during MTB longer breaks/stops on exposed rides at altitude, the hood being unnecessary with a ski helmet and hooded shell jacket.

Very warm and super light, packing down extremely small. Works as an ideal mid layer over merino base long sleeve vest, (and micro fleece in extreme cold), with Gore-Tex shell jacket as outer, worked excellently for Canadian ski trip, on piste and backcountry.

Good fit and shape which is one of the reasons I prefer Arc'teryx kit, and unlike some manufactures who ere on the side of slim to very slim it provides a close fit with plenty of room for movement.

As always normal very high standard Arc'teryx clothing.

This jacket seems very light and very warm. It is expensive but the quality is high and it reduces to a surprisingly small size (into its own little bag in one of the pockets). It feels comfortable and has a snug cut, and even though it is light and not very puffy, it seems very warm!

I am 6ft 1", 15 stone and 42 inch chest, and the large is a pretty good fit, although a little snug (I'm planning on losing a little weight...!)

I purchased this Arcteryx jacket to use as a layer underneath my Arcteyx stingray jacket. It's a great fit, not bulky in the slightest. It is extremely light and keeps me as warm as toast. It looks very smart and I've received many compliments wearing it as a stand alone jacket on night outs. It compresses easily into its own bag which comes with it, and takes up hardly any room in my rucksack. I thoroughly recommend this jacket. I looked at the hoody version, but this version as a jacket is far more versatile and suits my needs better. As usual - Arcteryx have made another winner!
