The Arcteryx Beta FL jacket is a Fast and Light durable hardshell jacket ideal for Alpine ascents, ski-touring and general high aerobic activity in the hills and mountains. Active Shell is a super light 3 layer waterproof fabric from Gore that has been designed with the aerobically active person in mind, providing a highly breathable and durable jacket ensuring maximum protection from the wind, rain and snow, offering all this with the minimum of weight and great packability.

The Beta FL is a clean cut jacket with a technical shorter fit. A heavier Active Shell fabric has been used in the head, shoulder and hip areas to aid durability when wearing a helmet or rucksack. Two accessible chest pockets provide ample storage space for maps or guide books and are protected by water resistant zips. The excellent fitting hood is fully adjustable and easily fits over a helmet providing superb protection form the worst storms that you might find your self in. The Beta FL is sealed securely with the proven WaterTight Vislon zip.
