The Arcteryx Alpha SL Pullover is a superlight hardshell made from Gore-Tex Paclite and weights in at an amazing 322g, making the Alpha Pullover the ideal shell for the minimalist alpine climber or ski tourer.

The Alpha Pullover features a helmet compatible hood with stealth hood adjusters to keep the worst of the weather out. The full length pit zips that travel from the hem of the jacket all the way to just above the elbow allow for exceptional venting, they also mean the jacket can be worn almost like a poncho, keeping light rain from your head and shoulders and your torso cool when working hard. Making this the ultimate climbing or ski touring jacket where weight and space is essential.

However Paclite is as it says a very packable and a very light fabric, so if you're looking for higher levels of breathability and greater abrasion resistance then you should consider a Gore-Tex Pro shell jacket as an alternative fabric.
