AMK Moleskin is your solution to problem blisters.
Moleskin is a self adheshive fabric that can be used for blister prevention or to alleviate the pain of blisters you already have. To prevent blisters, apply Moleskin to problem areas of your feet before you start the day. To relieve blister pain, stick one around or over your blister to reduce further friction.
The Moleskins come precut in the right shapes so scissors are not needed and include alcohol swabs to clean your feet first for better adhesion. There are even ring shapes with holes in the middle to make doughnut dressings for existing blisters.

With even the most carefully selected boot and sock combination, on long through hikes, blisters can be a problem. And they can be a problem that costs you valuable time if you are against a schedule or which sap all of the joy out of walking as each step is agony. It's important to deal with them fast, and effectively - and Moleskin is a proven remedy.
The Adventure Medical Moleskin kit is perfect for through hikers looking to limit pack size and weight. It comes with alcohol wipes and a sheet of pre-cut self adhesive moleskin shapes designed to address the most frequent hot-spot areas.
Those prepared to carry more might like the "Blister medic" kit which has glacier gels and towelettes in addition too the moleskin/wipes found in this pack. The adhesive on the moleskin pads is not too strong, It may be fine for you, but you may prefer to carry some tape too.
What I liked best about this pack was that I could remove the contents from their plastic bag and place them in the waterproof sac that came with the Adventure Medical Kits Ultralight & Watertight .3 kit I bought.

Aah moleskin... A lifesaver on many an occasion. It is thick for protecting those hot spots but not quite sticky enough, in my experience. Use some finger tape to strap it on and it will see you through to the end of the day with a minimum of pain!
