AMK Moleskin is your solution to problem blisters.
Moleskin is a self adheshive fabric that can be used for blister prevention or to alleviate the pain of blisters you already have. To prevent blisters, apply Moleskin to problem areas of your feet before you start the day. To relieve blister pain, stick one around or over your blister to reduce further friction.
The Moleskins come precut in the right shapes so scissors are not needed and include alcohol swabs to clean your feet first for better adhesion. There are even ring shapes with holes in the middle to make doughnut dressings for existing blisters.

Aah moleskin. . . A lifesaver on many an occasion. It is thick for protecting those hot spots but not quite sticky enough, in my experience. Use some finger tape to strap it on and it will see you through to the end of the day with a minimum of pain!

It's important to deal with them fast, and effectively - and Moleskin is a proven remedy. The Adventure Medical Moleskin kit is perfect for through hikers looking to limit pack size and weight. It comes with alcohol wipes and a sheet of pre-cut self adhesive moleskin shapes designed to address the most frequent hot-spot areas. Those prepared to carry more might like the Blister medic kit which has glacier gels and towelettes in addition too the moleskin/wipes found in this pack. The adhesive on the moleskin pads is not too strong, It may be fine for you, but you may prefer to carry some tape too. What I liked best about this pack was that I could remove the contents from their plastic bag and place them in the waterproof sac that came with the Adventure Medical Kits Ultralight & Watertight . 3 kit I bought.

Great part of first aid kit with pre-cut holes to build up moleskin around blister to prevent rubbing and eliminate pain. It really is user-friendly with its pre-cut shapes and sizes for quick and easy application but it could have more adhesive backing to keep them longer on skin.

Arthritic knees mean that traveling light is the only option these days but I still wouldn't be without some Moleskin. It's brilliantly adhesive & whilst it's great at preventing blisters if a sore bit does occur, it's pretty good at stopping the damage. In the old days, I used to buy the strips & cut them down with nail scissors to the required shapes, together with rounded corners to discourage lifting of the adhesive but now this kit is available, it's all done for you. Definitely recommended.
